Be a LEADER, Not a BOSS

The boss drives his men;

The Leader coaches them.

The boss depends on authority;

The Leader on goodwill.

The boss inspires fear;

The Leader inspires enthusiasm.

The boss says "I";

The Leader says "We".

The boss says; "Get there on time"

The Leader gets there ahead of time.

The boss fixes blame for the breakdown;

The Leader fixes the breakdown.

The boss knows how it is done;

The Leader shows how.

The boss says, "Go";

The Leaders says, "Lets go".

The boss uses people;

The Leader develops them.

The boss sees today;

The Leader also looks at tomorrow.

The boss commands;

The Leader asks.

The boss never has enough time;

The Leader takes time for things that count.

The boss is concerned with things;

The Leader is concerned with people.

The boss lets his people know where he stands;

The Leader lets his people know where they stand.

The boss works hard to produce;

The Leader works hard to help his people produce.

The boss takes the credit;

The Leader gives it away.

So…..Who are you? A boss or a Leader?……

Think.......

And take action to become a LEADER, not a BOSSSSSSSS.

Life Before Computers

An application was for employment
A program was a TV show
A cursor used profanity
And a keyboard was on a piano!

Memory was something that you lost with age
And a CD was a bank account
And if you had a corrupted disk
It would hurt when you found out!

Compress was what you did to garbage
Not something you did to a file
And if you unzipped anything in public
You'd be in jail for a while!

Log on was adding wood to a fire
A hard drive was a trip on the road
A mouse pad was where a mouse lived
And a backup happened to the commode!

Cutting, you did with a pocket knife,
Pasting, you did with glue.
The Web was where a spider lived
And a virus was the flu!

What My Heart Sees

Acceptance and Truth

Lessons to Learn From Inspiring Story "Adjust To Life........ ........"

A man and his girlfriend were married. It was a large celebration. All of
their friends and family came to see the lovely ceremony and to partake of
the festivities and celebrations. A wonderful time was had by all.

The bride was gorgeous in her white wedding gown and the groom was very
dashing in his black tuxedo. Everyone could tell that! The love they had for
each other was true.

A few months later, the wife comes to the husband with a proposal: "I read
in a magazine, a while ago, about how we can strengthen our marriage." she
offered.

"Each of us will write a list of the things that we find a bit annoying with
the other person. Then, we can talk about how we can fix them together and
make our lives happier together."

The husband agreed, so each of them went to a separate room in the house and
thought of the things that annoyed them about the other. They thought about
this question for the rest of the day and wrote down what they came up with.

The next morning, at the breakfast table, they decided that they would go
over their lists.

"I'll start," offered the wife. She took out her list. It had many items on
it enough to fill 3 pages, in fact. As she started reading the list of the
little annoyances, she noticed that tears were starting to appear in her
husbands eyes.

"What's wrong?" she asked. "Nothing" the husband replied, "keep reading your
lists."

The wife continued to read until she had read all three pages to her husband
She neatly placed her list on the table and folded her hands over top of it

"Now, you read your list and then we'll talk about the things on both of our
lists." She said happily.

Quietly the husband stated, "I don't have anything on my list. I think that
you are perfect the way that you are. I don't want you to change anything
for me. You are lovely and wonderful and I wouldn't want to try and change
anything about you."

The wife, touched by his honesty and the depth of his love for her and his
acceptance of her, turned her head and wept.

In life, there are enough times when we are disappointed, depressed and
annoyed. We don't really have to go looking for them.

We have a wonderful world that is full of beauty, light and promise.

Why waste time in this world looking for the bad, disappointing or annoying
when we can look around us, and see the wondrous things before us?

Lessons to Learn from This Message:

I believe that WE ARE HAPPIEST WHEN we see and praise the good and try our
best to forget the bad. Nobody's perfect but we can find perfect ness in
them to change the way we see them.

The Donkey

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

MORAL :
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.

2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.

3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.

4. Give more.

5. Expect less

When Disaster Strikes

When storm clouds threaten, and we're forced to face a great disaster,
Two natures battle in our hearts to see which one is master.

Our character is best revealed by how we choose to take it,
When hope is gone, and we have fears that we're not going to make it.

But maybe when disaster looms, we might rise up to meet it,
And ask the God to give us strength, and wisdom to defeat it.

Dear God, please warm our hearts, and make us care about our brothers,
Instead of thinking of ourselves, help us to think of others,

And help us lend a helping hand to those who hurt and sorrow,
So we can join in brotherhood to face a new tomorrow.

What would you do if every time you wanted someone they would never be there?

What would you do if for every moment you were truly happy there would be 10 moments of sadness?

What would you do if your best friend died tomorrow and you never got to tell them how you felt?

So, I just wanted to say, even if I never talk to you again in my life, you are special to me and you have made a difference I n my life.

I look up to you, respect you, and truly cherish you.

Let old friends know you haven't forgotten them, and tell new friends you never will.
